Coffee was our first passion as a business, our first shop ABDA is Northwich's only speciality coffee shop. Having featured in Cheshire Life in the “top ten coffee spots in Cheshire”, a finalist in “Cafe of the Year 2023” and featuring in the Indy Coffee Guide 2023 as one of the top coffee shops in the North West...we have become known for our great coffee!
Now, we are excited to bring the same love and passion for great coffee to Holmes Chapel here at CELESTE too.
About Our Coffee
We serve our own ABDA House Blend; a blend of grade A, speciality Brazilian and Guatemalan beans, producing naturally sweet, chocolate, nutty caramel notes.
Our roasters work with farmers in each country of origin, meaning our coffee is more ethically sourced than Fairtrade, and the machinery used to roast is the most environmentally friendly roaster on the market.
Our coffee is in the top 5% of coffee in the world, and meticulously brewed. We calibrate our machine and grinders twice daily to ensure our espressos weigh 16g and extract between 25-30 seconds and our Ristrettos weigh 18g and extract at roughly 20 seconds - the best way to enjoy our rich, smooth and naturally sweet coffee.
We also steam our dairy milk to between 50-60°C and our alternative milks (almond, coconut, oat and soya - all available free of charge) to 40°C - because nobody likes burnt milk!
